Swimming Lessons - Upper Hutt | Fulton Swim School

Conveniently located just off Ward Street, Fulton Swim School Upper Hutt provides a friendly, purpose-built environment where swimmers of all ages can learn, grow, and build confidence in the water. Our facility features an indoor heated pool, maintained at a comfortable 32°C and dedicated exclusively to swimming lessons. The pool has a depth of 0.8m, through to 1.3m deep, with a range of platforms and benches available to support swimmers as they progress through each level.

Families are welcome to enjoy our spacious viewing area and poolside seating while lessons are in progress. The facility also includes onsite changing rooms, baby changing facilities, showers, and toilets, making every visit as convenient as possible. Our onsite swim shop stocks all the essentials, including goggles and swim caps.

Our Upper Hutt pool is equipped with a modern water treatment system that keeps the water clean and comfortable while using only the minimum amount of chlorine required under New Zealand regulations. Swimming lessons are available from just $27.00 per lesson, per student, helping swimmers develop essential water safety and swimming skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Meet Our Site Manager Lauren

Hi, I'm Lauren. I moved to Upper Hutt in 2020 so my husband could join the Fire Service. We have two young boys that keep us on our toes. I have always had a passion for sport and have a Bachelor of Sport Coaching. I was the Swimming NZ Wellington regional education manager and have been working in the Learn to Swim industry for the past 12 years. I can teach all levels, babies through to adults and enjoy seeing the excitement when swimmers learn new skills. I look forward to seeing you in the pool!
