Pre school Swimming Lessons -
3 years plus
We adapt our lessons to suit the needs of our swimmers
Until the age of about 3 years we require the parent to be in the water with their child, this bonding with the parent gives the child the greatest start to their life as a young swimmer. The aim for preschool children is to provide an aquatic environment where children feel safe and are achieving their potential while learning key water safety skills that are vital for survival in an aquatic environment. Our goal is for children to gain confidence with a parent out of the pool, submerge, float, water safety skills and aspects of freestyle and backstroke are introduced.
Children are placed in the most suitable swimming lesson level
based on their water confidence and swimming ability. School-aged children who are new to swimming lessons may begin in Rugrats with preschool aged children, before progressing through our School Age learn-to-swim programme.
