Services
Fulton Swim School provides comprehensive aquatic programs. Each program is arranged separately and is charged according to our current pricing, which may vary throughout the year. Notification of any price changes will be provided via our app and by email before they take effect.
Programming of Lessons
Our swim programs run continuously throughout the year, including during school holidays. (please refer to the Fees section for further details).
If your scheduled lesson falls on a public holiday, you will not be charged for that session.
Fulton Swim School reserves the right to make adjustments to lesson times and instructors as needed, based on booking demand.
Booking Confirmation
Bookings can be made via:

- Our Swim School reception
Email confirmation will be sent for all bookings.
Please note: Due to demand and online booking processes, we do not hold pencil bookings. All bookings are treated as confirmed and ongoing.
Fees
- Fulton Swim School is a
cashless business.
- Payments are accepted via Visa debit or credit cards only.
Swim Programs
Fees must be paid monthly in advance via Direct Debit from a nominated debit/credit card, processed on the
1st of each month. If the 1st falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment will be deducted on the last working day prior.
- Failed payments will incur a
$20.00 rejection fee per booking.
- Transaction fees: $0.40 per transaction + 2.1% of the transaction value.
- An additional 1.15% (incl. GST) is applied to international Visa/MasterCard transactions.
If payment is overdue by 48 hours, your child’s booking may be cancelled.
Holiday Programs
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Your Direct Debit will continue unless cancelled as per our
Withdrawal Policy.
Notice of Withdrawal
To cancel your ongoing booking:
- Notice must be provided in writing via email to: info@fultonswimschool.co.nz
- Notice must be received before the 28th of the month.
- For January cancellations, notice must be received
by 10th December.
Failure to notify by these dates will result in the
full month being charged.
No refunds or credits will be issued after payment is processed.
Required Swimwear for Lessons
- Children under 3, and those not toilet-trained, must wear
double nappies (disposable swim nappy + reusable nappy). Available in-store and online.
- Goggles and swim caps are required from the
Explorers level onward, though recommended for all levels.
- Girls: Fitted one-piece swimsuits only (no bikinis, rash vests, or board shorts).
- Boys: Fitted swim briefs or shorts (nylon rugby shorts are suitable).
Note: Rash shirts and board shorts create drag and hinder learning. These are not suitable for lessons.
Supervisors may address non-compliant swimwear directly with caregivers.
Parental Supervision
Safety is our top priority. Active supervision by a parent or caregiver (aged 16 or older) is required at all times while children are in our facility.
Parents or caregivers must remain onsite for the duration of each lesson, including for students attending from after-school care.
Your presence helps create a safe, supportive swim school environment.
Photography
Fulton Swim School may take photos or videos during lessons for assessment, training, or promotional use. A separate promotional material waiver is required.
When capturing your own memories:
- Only photograph or film your own child.
- No phone use is allowed in changing rooms.
- Be respectful of others’ privacy at all times.
We love seeing your special moments too! If you'd like to share them on Instagram, feel free to tag us — we’d love to see your swimmer in action!
Missed / Make Up Lessons
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, please notify us before the lesson via the app or online portal.
For Group Lessons:
- When we receive advance notice, unlimited make-up lessons can be arranged, subject to availability.
- Make-up lessons are scheduled in alternative time slots or days and must be booked no more than 2 days in advance via the app or portal.
- If less than 1 hour’s notice is given, the lesson will be forfeited and no make-up will be offered.
- A $10 admin fee applies to make-up bookings made via email, phone, or in person.
- Make-up lessons are not refundable, not transferable, and can only be used if the student has an active booking.
- Make-up tokens do not expire but remain valid only while the student is actively enrolled.
- If lessons are cancelled due to unforeseen events (e.g., faecal/vomiting incident), a make-up token will be issued. Refunds or credits will not be provided.
For Private Lessons:
- Each private lesson is limited to one student per session.
- Make-up lessons for private sessions will be offered
only in a group class; a replacement private lesson will not be provided.
- Make-up lessons for private lessons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability within our existing group lesson schedule.

Privacy Policy
Fulton Swim School collects personal information for enrollment and service delivery. Your information will be stored securely and used only for the purposes you've authorised, in compliance with the Privacy Act 1993 and its updates.
