Hi there, I’m Ashlin.
I knew I wanted to teach swimming since having lessons as a child. I first started teaching in 2012 when I was 16 and have taught on and off since then in both NZ and Northern Ireland.
I love travelling and the buzz of exploring new places. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, I’m a bit of a foodie and love anything to do with being in the water.
I look forward to seeing you in the pool!
Hi everyone, I am a mother of 2. I have being a swim instructor since 2014. I enjoy the great outdoors and we are lucky to be able to work outside too. I have being involved with water sports all my life and love it.
I have worked for the past 32yrs as a bridal consultant having met the most amazing people and I am now see those customers coming to swimming lessons with their children. Great to have those connections with the families.
The children are my reason I am a swim instructor. Swim for life ♥️ Sharyn.
Hi there, I’m Elise. From a young age I’ve enjoyed swimming and being in the water, and I’m so excited that I get to pass this valuable life skill on to others. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to seeing you all at the pool.
Hi I’m Emily and I have many years of swim teaching experience. I was also a competent swimmer for 14 years. I have won numerous national titles and represented New Zealand on three occasions. I have just moved back to New Plymouth after spending six years in the USA - three of these as a division 1 swimmer and three as a collegiate swimming coach. Don't be shy to say hello on poolside!
Hey everyone, ever since I was little I’ve loved being around the water and the ocean, and I know how important water safety is. I’m so excited to have the honour of teaching our next generation water safety and skills.
Growing up I was involved in surf life saving but now I have placed my focus on both beach and indoor volleyball, and in my free time I help coach my junior volleyball players. My favourite stroke would have to be breaststroke as I find it quite relaxing. I really look forward to seeing and meeting everyone.
See you in the pool!
Kia ora, I'm Amani! I started swimming lessons at around 2 years old and still swim 2 days a week. I have always loved the ocean and rivers and swimming lessons really helped to make me more confident around water. I'm looking forward to giving students the same experience and seeing them progress into strong confident swimmers! My personal favorite swimming stroke is breaststroke. As well as swimming I love to dance, sing and play piano! I can't wait to meet you and your children at the pool!
Hi, I’m Blake! I started swimming lessons when I was a baby, since then I've done swim squad for multiple years, and go to different beaches and rivers for fun! I really enjoy working at Fulton Swim School, what drove me to become a swim teacher is if someone taught me such a valuable skill, I should teach someone the same! Something I like to do in my spare time is go out on the golf course and play a few holes.
Hope to see you at the pool soon!
Hi I’m Eve,

Hi I’m Connor, and swimming has always been a passion of mine. Teaching at Fulton helps me express this in a way that benefits everyone around me, especially the children. I enjoy spending every moment possible at the beach or local rivers enjoying the water. During my free time I enjoy playing basketball and fixing up old cars. I look forward to seeing you in the pool!
Hi, my name is Anna. I have always been involved in swimming and surf life saving and I am now a volunteer beach life guard. I enjoy helping out at junior surf on my weekends and teaching water safety. I look forward to giving kids confidence in the water and teaching them how to swim and gain new skills. I am lucky to be at Fulton Swim School and look forward to meeting you all.
Kia ora, my name is Wendy. I am looking forward to being a part of the Fulton swim school. I love being in and around water. I am a mum of 3 older children who I've taught to have a similar passion and respect for the water. I have been involved in surf life saving for most of my life. My favourite thing about teaching swimming is seeing the students' faces light up when they feel success in what they have done. I look forward to meeting you at the pool.
