Ashlin - Fulton Swim School Teacher

Ashlin

Hi there, I’m Ashlin.
I knew I wanted to teach swimming since having lessons as a child. I first started teaching in 2012 when I was 16 and have taught on and off since then in both NZ and Northern Ireland.
I love travelling and the buzz of exploring new places. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, I’m a bit of a foodie and love anything to do with being in the water.
I look forward to seeing you in the pool!

I have just moved back to New Plymouth after spending six years in the USA - three of these as a division 1 swimmer and three as a collegiate swimming coach. Don't be shy to say hello on poolside!

Jess - Fulton Swim School Teacher

Jessica

Hey everyone, ever since I was little I’ve loved being around the water and the ocean, and I know how important water safety is. I’m so excited to have the honour of teaching our next generation water safety and skills.

Growing up I was involved in surf life saving but now I have placed my focus on both beach and indoor volleyball, and in my free time I help coach my junior volleyball players. My favourite stroke would have to be breaststroke as I find it quite relaxing. I really look forward to seeing and meeting everyone.
See you in the pool!

Hi, I’m Blake! I started swimming lessons when I was a baby, since then I've done swim squad for multiple years, and go to different beaches and rivers for fun! I really enjoy working at Fulton Swim School, what drove me to become a swim teacher is if someone taught me such a valuable skill, I should teach someone the same! Something I like to do in my spare time is go out on the golf course and play a few holes.
Hope to see you at the pool soon!
