Renata Rodrigues:

I been living in New Zealand for eight and a half years. I was raised on the North Coast of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a house by the beach with a 20m swimming pool. My Dad was a strong swimmer and used to do competitive rowing. I have been swimming since I can remember. Swimming was my everyday joy and I had to help my school friends to learn to swim and be safe in my pool, making me feel really good. I have done competitive swimming as a child. I miss swimming in the ocean in winter months in NZ, a bit too cold for Brazilians. I love kids and after working as a nanny/tutor in NZ I decided that working with kids is the career I want to follow. I am so enjoying teaching kids how to swim and I am really happy to join Daniel's team at Fulton. Other then that I enjoy anything that has to do with nature and animals. I also take art and photography as a hobby.

Holly Turkington:

I am 18 years of age and started teaching at Fulton Swim School in October 2010. I have loved every minute of it and I always feel very proud of the swimmers when I see them improve. I have just finished 7th Form at Waiuku College and started Bachelor of Communications at AUT University. I enjoy spending lots of time with my friends and family. My hobbies include netball and drama.

Roslyn Brown

Roslyn Brown:

I am enjoying swim teaching as it combines my experience with raising four children, 13 year old twins, an 18 and 20 year old whom I have been a stay at home mum with. We have all loved the water and swimming, spending time at the beach and our pool. Teaching at Fulton's is a rewarding feeling of passing on a skill which gives both safety and enjoyment to others and watching them progress is very enjoyable. My other interests include training standardbred horses (pacers) with my husband and watching my children's sport including pony club, hockey, netball and rugby.

Hi, I'm 21 years old and am doing a double major in psychology and criminology at the University of Auckland. I started teaching at Fulton Swim School in January 2011 and thoroughly enjoy it. I love teaching children to swim and find it very rewarding. I think it is important we teach our children how to swim as it ensures they are as safe as possible in and around water. Swimming is a big part of my life as I also play and coach underwater hockey.

I have a passion for the outdoors, love anything extreme and I'm always on the hunt for a close to death encounter! At the moment Fulton Swim School have given me the opportunity to teach the kids of Franklin the life skill of swimming. Teaching kids is something I've always wanted to do, and so far I'm enjoying it. Here's to seeing you around!
